Meet Our Founders
Social workers Sarah Auerswald (MBA, LICSW) and Sarah Fredley (LICSW) have a combined total of 32 years of experience working in long term care. We have been colleagues and friends for well over a decade, and we spent the past 5 years working together directly to build and supervise a team of 60+ licensed social workers in 80+ contracts throughout New England. Over that time, we quickly became known within the industry as "The Sarahs" or "Sarah Squared." When the company owner abruptly closed his business in May 2024, we created a new agency for the many social workers that had been left without work and the contracts that had been left without a social worker. We had already talked for years about starting our own company, the name was an easy choice, and S2 Social Work Services was born.
As business partners, our strengths, interests, and personalities complement each other perfectly. As providers, we are very responsive, genuine, and easy to work with. As supervisors, we strive to provide a supportive environment for our elite team of social workers who provide the highest quality of service to our contracts. In turn, the clientele for each of our contracts experience an enhanced quality of life. We have received positive feedback about our leadership style, positivity, reliability and honest communication.

At S2 Social Work, our mission is to improve the quality of services in clinical settings where social workers play an integral role in the continuum of care. We believe that taking care of our clients starts with caring for our team members. By supporting and empowering the elite social workers on our team, we provide our contracts with exceptional service and, most importantly, ensure their clients receive the compassion, advocacy and support they deserve.
